March for Our Lives activists are rallying at the Capital Saturday in support of gun reform. A group of gun rights activists is also planning a Saturday rally at the Capital.

Brandon Wolf, a survivor of the Pulse Nightclub shooting, says the timing of the rally so close to the July 30th voter registration deadline was no mistake.

“We’re looking to engage young people, drive them to register to vote, and hopefully get them involved in the midterms. I think you’ll hear some impactful stories. You’ll hear some urgency around our need to exercise our right to vote and hopefully you’ll see an energized community that’s ready to get out in August and again in November.”

Wolf says people on both sides of the debate have more in common than they may think and he encourages everyone to come out and speak with the other side.
