Nearly three months after a gunman opened fire on Florida State University’s campus, one of the people injured is coming back.

Three people were shot by gunman Myron May in November, but Ronny Ahmed was the most seriously injured. He was struck three times and is likely paralyzed from the waist down. He’s being treated at an Atlanta rehabilitation facility. Florida State University President John Thrasher says Ahmed will return to Tallahassee February 15th.

“One of my goals, if I have any at all left after all the other things…is to see that man graduate from Florida State University. He's a junior in engineering and I think we will accomplish that."

An online fundraising campaign for Ahmed has generated more than $200,000.  Thrasher announced Ahmed’s return while speaking to the Economic Club of Florida.
