FAMU attorney and interim Title III Compliance Officer Rosalind Fuse-Hall has a new job. President of Bennett College, a private, all-women's school in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The college announced Monday that Fuse-Hall will become the school’s 17th president July 1.
A graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, Fuse-Hall earned her law degree at Rutgers University. She has also worked in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s New York office.
In 2002, she became the chief of staff to former FAMU President James Ammons, who was then-chancellor of N.C. Central University.
Fuse-Hall followed Ammons to Florida A&M in 2007 when he was named president. She stayed on after his resignation last July following the aftermath of the hazing death of a school band drum major.
Fuse-Hall is married to Jarvis Hall, an associate professor of political science at N.C. Central. They have a daughter who will soon graduate from UNC-Chapel Hill.
