Early Voting Turnout Could Break Leon Records

Early Voting in Leon County may be on track to break a record. That’s according to Assistant Supervisor of Elections, Chris Moore.

“We’re off to a great start and we’re looking at somewhere in the neighborhood of 40-to-50 thousand early votes for this election. 50-thousand is easily attainable, which would be a record here in Leon County,” Moore says.

Moore says two factors contributing to the turnout are a growing population and more early voting locations available in Leon County. Early voting continues through November 6th.
