Annual Summer Fill-A-Truck Food, Fund Drive Accepting Donations

America's Second Harvest of the Big Bend

A Man With A Truck Warehouse and Storage is collecting donations of nonperishable foods from local businesses. The donations will go to the annual Summer Fill-A-Truck Food and Fund Drive.

In the Big Bend area 32,000 children lack access to nutritious food during summer months. In partnership with Second Harvest, A Man With A Truck will hold its annual food and fund drive to support low-income families.

CEO and President Gloria Pugh says, "and then on May 10 at the Tallahassee Democrat between 11 and 6 o’ clock we will be there accepting the donations from the community. It’ll be like a drive-through style, people don’t even have to get out their car and we will receive all of the nonperishable food and the funds that have been collected through May 10."

The donations will be distributed to local food pantries for hungry kids and families. For more info visit www.FightingHunger.org
