WFSQ-FM's Showcase is inaugurating a new series of broadcasts by talented artists and ensembles from the communtiy and from FSU's College of Music. Leading off the series will be the graduate Eppes String Quartet which has been named in honor of the founder of Florida State University. The members of the quartet are Vilma Llona, First Violin and Alexandra Matloff, Second Violin, both of whom are doctoral candidates. The violist is Peter Dutilly and Austin Bennett performs on cello. Please join Showcase on Friday, January 10th at 3pm to hear a live recording of The Eppes Quartet playing Dvorak's beautiful "American Quartet". There will be a reprise of Showcase on Sunday the 12th at 6pm right after History Happens on WFSQ-FM.
