Tallahassee Community College's Foundation received some sizable donations on Monday, Nov. 18. One, in the amount of $20,000 came from the Firehouse Subs Foundation.
Among the presenters was Jaquelyn Kotos, the company's senior manager of marketing and communications.
"We are just thrilled to empower a future generation of firefighters and to enable them to save more lives in the future," she remarked. "It means a lot to our organization, which is so committed to helping our fire, our police and EMS save lives and this is just a small part of that."
The money will underwrite 7 student scholarships. The donation came during the TCC Trustees meeting.
