Thomas University officials say no one was injured during a shooting incident Monday.
According to a press release, the university went into immediate lock down after a gunshot hit the Student Life Center on Thomas University’s Magnolia Campus. Administrators locked down the building and the Thomasville Police Department along with the Thomas County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene. Law enforcement officers say the gunshot was not related to the university. The school remained in lockdown mode for less than an hour before officials determined everything was safe and gave the all clear.
