An incident at the Tallahassee airport Monday morning caused officials to close one of the facility's runways. According to a press release from the city, a Piper Saratoga experienced a landing gear malfunction as the craft prepared to land. Officials say the two people who were on board the plane were not injured. The runway is closed, but officials expect to reopen it by noon. Meanwhile, the airport’s second runway remains open.
