Rudiger Employee Facing Child Porn Charges

Leon County Schools

A Leon County school employee has been arrested and his home raided by the FBI.

Jonathan Williams is facing child pornography charges. The district has acknowledged William’s arrest. In a statement, Leon County Schools spokesman Chris Petley says there is no information that shows any students at Rudiger, where Williams was employed as the registrar, were involved.

"This morning, LCS was made aware of the arrest of Mr. Jonathan Williams at his home by the FBI," said Petley in a written statement. "The FBI informed LCS that the investigation is ongoing. No other information is available at this time."

Williams has been removed from the school. He’s been an employee of the school district since 2002. Before becoming the Rudiger registrar, Williams was a school bus driver.
