Tallahassee, FL – Hundreds of eager job seekers packed the Tallahassee Community College Student Union ballroom Wednesday. Tom Flanigan reports there were also dozens of area businesses and organizations looking to hire.
This past spring, about six hundred people showed up at TCC's job fair. The turnout for the November job fair was well above that.
Tallahassee's Brandt Information Services was one of the local companies with a job fair booth. The company's Mackenzie Messmer was happy with both the quantity and quality of the job seekers.
"So busy so so busy! We've had a lot of people come by the booth. A lot of qualified applicants they're prepared, they're dressed to impress, they've got their resumes ready and it's a very successful event, yes."
And there were actual jobs available full and part time as well as seasonal positions and internships.
