Tallahassee, FL – Tallahassee Community College President Bill Law is among four finalists being considered to head St. Petersburg College. A committee made up of one student, two college trustees, three faculty members, five community representatives and two staffers, voted on each of the four finalists after reviewing their video tapes.

St. Petersburg College Institutional Advancement Director Mike O'Keefe told the Tallahassee Democrat that Law's video was quite impressive. Each of the thirteen committee members voted for four people to continue on as finalists in the presidential search, and O'Keefe said Law had the most votes. Coming in second was Peninsula College President Thomas Keegan of Port Angeles, Washington. Law and Keegan have even beaten out former St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker for a spot in the final four.

A decision as to who will be the next president is expected sometime around the first week of April.
