Tallahassee, FL – A bipartisan group that includes three former Florida attorneys general and a former secretary of the Department of Corrections has written Governor Charlie Crist, urging him to back its plan for criminal justice reform. As Margie Menzel reports, the group says that education, along with substance abuse and mental health treatment, will reduce crime and save the state money.
