Florida A&M University has canceled all on-campus gatherings until further notice. Officials are telling teachers to be ready to teach classes online if necessary.
In a letter to students, faculty, and staff the university is urging all people traveling internationally to reconsider plans. All international university trips have been canceled. Officials also provided information for students to follow so they can keep up with course work if they need to self-isolate. Faculty and staff have been told to notify human resources regarding any leave related to self-isolation.
Canceled events include Be Out Day, Spring Preview, The Orange and Green football game and others.
