Family Sues Over Franklin Inmate's 2010 Death

A federal civil rights lawsuit has been filed in Tallahassee on behalf of the 12-year-old daughter of Franklin Correctional Institution inmate who was reportedly gassed while in a confinement cell. The plaintiffs are alleging a cover up

Randall Jordan-Aparo’s 2010 death is still being investigated by state and federal law enforcement officials -- and it’s one of a string of inmate deaths that drew widespread scrutiny.
