Tallahassee, FL – Former U.S. Senator and Gov. Bob Graham kicked off a national book tour Monday in Tallahassee. James Call reports, Graham is promoting a political thriller based on his experience of leading a Senate investigation of the 9/11 attack.
Senator Bob served as the chair of the Senate intelligence committee for 10 years.. He is still on an advisory committee to the Central Intelligence Agency which had to clear the book before it could be published. The novel expresses his belief that the U.S. covered up Saudi Arabia's involvement in the 9/11 attack.
"My anger is directed at anybody who made the decision that the American people should not understand the full extent of Saudi involvement in 9 11 and with that information take the steps to protect us from a future such action by the Saudis."
Graham said about 40 percent of the book is factual. He said he changed the names of people and location of events to give the novel, what one reviewer called a fig leaf of fiction.
