Some businesses in Florida that depend on tourism worry about recent travel advisories issued by civil rights groups. They say Florida’s Governor Ron DeSantis's policies are hostile toward people of color and the LGBTQ-plus community. As Adrian Andrews with Member station WFSU reports…now business leaders are trying to counter any negative effects.

Gov. Ron DeSantis has signed legislation that environmental groups say will make it harder to limit sprawling development in Florida. But as Margie Menzel reports, supporters of the measure say it will reduce frivolous lawsuits in Florida.

Much of the attention surrounding transgender health care in Florida lately has focused on minors. But a new law that criminalizes providing gender-affirming care to most children is also disrupting access for trans adults. Some health centers say they're having to pause these treatments.
