Perspectives: A FULL SUMMER

Organizers of an all-volunteer effort to provide meals for low-income kids during the summer months when they don’t receive school-based breakfasts and lunches talk about the upcoming community effort set for June 6th at Rickards High School.  Show participants are: Becky Liner, co-chair of A Full Summer and member of First Baptist Church; Doug Cook, principal of Rickards High School, which is host for this year’s program; Lydia Claire Brooks, director of development of Second Harvest of the Big Bend; Dennis Howard, A Full Summer volunteer and member of St. John’s Episcopal Church; and Scott Bonnell, CEO of Hope2TheHungry and Hope2Haiti who brought the idea to Tallahassee.
