Gadsden County Seeking Local Elders For Documentary

West Gadsden Historical Society, Inc.

Gadsden County is asking adults 80 years and older to come forward and share stories about their life for an oral history project.

The documentary hopes to provide insight into life in the early 1900s, focusing on the feats and struggles of the Gadsden County African American Community. The project is sponsored by the Department of State. Gadsden County asks that if you know an elder who can contribute, to please call (904) 567-6080,  contact them by email at Gadsden@colorfullymoved.com, or visit the Gadsden County website.
