Marcella Cope is HIV positive. She's the picture of health, married with teenagers.
Every year about 20,000 cases of HIV/ADS are reported. It is this number that prompted the FAMU Counseling Services to get involved and spread awareness to students. They applied for a grant and were awarded $85,000. Director of Counseling Services, Dr. Yolanda Bo-gan.
