Chiles High School Students Win Student Astronaut Challenge

According to education officials and event organizers Tallahassee's Chiles high school team was the winner of the 2013 Student Astronaut Challenge. Almost 200 students from more than 30 schools participated in the qualifier, that number was reduced to six teams for the challenge finale at the Tallahassee Regional Airport.

The six teams that competed in this weekend's finale were awarded tickets to Universal Studios in Orlando, and an invitation to tour the Kennedy Space Center. Chiles high school, the challenge's winner, received special recognition in the form of gold medals and automatic entry in next year's competition.
