As the ongoing drama surrounding healthcare in Florida thickens, some observers say there’s a way out of the darkness. Lynn Hatter reports some observers say there’s a small light at the end of the tunnel—if lawmakers can ever make it there.

When the House drills a little further down its calendar, environmentalists will get another chance next week to do their bit against fracking. Ash Jim Ash reports, lawmakers are going ahead with plans to create some “ground” rules for the oil and gas industry.

A measure allowing terminally ill people to use experimental drugs without needing full federal approval has passed the Florida House, after several lawmakers shared their personal stories. Sascha Cordner reports.

“Mission Creep” isn’t a term limited to military operations.  It’s also used to describe the increase in community colleges offering four-year degrees, which critics say started innocently but has grown out of control. As Matthew Seeger reports, Stuart Senator Joe Negron may have brokered a solution.
