The Florida legislative session is heading into overtime after a disagreement over how to fund hospitals stalled negotiations. But Lynn Hatter reports the two chambers reached an agreement Wednesday how to reimburse the facilities for treating low income and uninsured patients.

The debate over gun safety moved to the Florida House today (Wednesday.) Sascha Cordner takes us to some of the discussions that occurred as the issue divided that chamber along mostly partisan lines.
Wednesday marked the Florida Cabinet’s final meeting for this year’s legislative session. After, Governor Rick Scott and Agricultural Commissioner Adam Putnam shared their thoughts on current issues the state will have to deal with this session and beyond. Andrew Quintana reports.
