Opening Nights at FSU presents the New York Gilbert & Sullivan Players in H.M.S. Pinafore,  January 29th at 7:30PM in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. Opening Nights also presents musical group Six One Five Collective, January 30th at 7:30PM at TSC’s Turner Auditorium. The FSU College of Music Housewright Virtuoso Series presents “Living Notes: Meet the Composers” featuring original works by FSU composers, January 30th at 7:30PM in Opperman Music Hall. It is open to the public.

The FSU University Symphony Orchestra has a concert called “Sing with the Symphony,” showcasing William Dawson’s “Negro Folk Symphony,” Gerald Finzi’s Clarinet Concerto, and a new work by Justine de Saint Mars called The Mathematician’s Patterns, February 1st at 7:30PM in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. The Tallahassee Film Society presents “Cat and Dog Film Festival,” February 1st and 2nd at the Challenger Learning Center. Tickets and information can be found at tallahasseefilms.com.

The Tallahassee State College Fine Art Gallery presents “Portraits in Passing,” an exhibit by Ann Kozeliski, through February 20th. The gallery is open to the public.
