Week of May 15th

The Knott House Museum and John G. Riley Center and Museum presents the “20th of May Emancipation in Florida.” Events will be held from May 16th through 20th. Information can be found at 20thofMay.com or by calling 850-245-6400.

On May 19th, there will be a “Freedom’s Eve Emancipation Concert” at 7PM in the Adderley Amphitheatre at Cascades Park. This concert will feature the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, TSO Jazz, and Tallahassee Nights Live. It is open to the public.

The Havana Reggae Festival is on May 20th from 12-9PM at 5F Farm Event Center in Quincy, Florida. The event will feature live music, kids’ events, food, games, and more. Tickets and information are available at havanareggaefest.com.

The Quincy Music Theatre presents, “Kiss Me, Kate!” through May 21st. Tickets and information can be found at quincymusictheatre.com.

The Monticello Opera House presents, “Mystery at Upton House,” May 19th through June 3rd. Tickets and information are available at monticellooperahouse.org.

The Gadsden Arts Center and Museum presents, “Carole Fiore…Thread Transformed,” through June 22nd. It features the works of fiber artist Carole Fiore. Information can be found at gadsdenarts.org.
