The FSU College of Motion Picture Arts presents the 2022 MFA Thesis Screenings on July 30th at Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. Part 1 begins at 3PM and Part 2 begins at 7PM. Each part features several films that represent the capstone work of the MFA graduating class of 2022. The event is open to the public.

The Gadsden Arts Center and Museum’s 34th Art in Gadsden exhibition opens July 29th. The Opening Reception & Award Ceremony is on July 29th at 6PM. The exhibit will be available until September 3rd. Viewers can expect works ranging from virtually all mediums, including watercolor, acrylic, oil, photography, clay, encaustic, wood, metal, glass, and serigraph. The Tallahassee Hispanic Theater presents the 5th annual Microtheater Festival July 29th and 30th at the Goodwood Museum and Gardens. The festival will present a series of 15 to 20-minute plays written by Hispanic playwrights, performed in English. There will also be Hispanic food, drinks, and music at the event. The Quincy Music Theatre presents Sondheim’s “Into the Woods,” July 29th through 31st. This production of the musical is staged through the Summer Intensive Camp at QMT for students ages 15-20. Tickets and Information are available at quincymusictheatre.com.
