Week of July 11th
LeMoyne Arts presents “Focused Memories” from July 14th through August 6th. “Focused memories” is an exhibit featuring Photography and Poetry by Stanley Johnson, Cynthia Rose and Katie Clark. It emphasizes the need to focus on the moments that bring beauty, peace, and joy to our souls. Tickets and information are available at lemoyne.org.
The Tallahassee Senior Center presents “Art Potpourri” through August 12th. The exhibit has drawings, pastels, collage, clay, and mixed media by current TSC participants and instructors. Artwork is displayed in the auditorium and well as on the ground floor display cabinet at the Tallahassee Senior Center. The exhibit will be open 9 - 4 on weekdays through August 12th and is open to the public.
COCA presents “Looking on the Bright Side:” Artworks by Sara Lea Miller through August 22nd at the Tallahassee Airport Gallery and COCA’s online gallery. The exhibit is open to the public.
The Tallahassee Community College Fine Arts Gallery presents, “Returning,” the Summer Annual Art Exhibit Artists’ League of the Big Bend, through August 25th. There will be creations in two and three-dimensions from artists of this region. From drawing to painting, photography and mixed media to clay and sculpture, a full range of approaches to making art will be on display. The gallery is open on weekdays from 12:30 to 4:30 and is open to the public.
