The Tallahassee Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society presents The Capital Chordsmen’s 2022 Annual Show on June 11th at 2PM and again at 7PM. The show is called, Beach Boys Barbershop, a tribute to the Surfin’ Music era with special guest quartet, Throwback. Tickets can information are available at capitalchordsmen.com/tickets.

The Studio Orchestra at FSU presents, “Screen Spectacular: A Celebration of Film and Video Game Music” on June 11th at 7:30PM in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. The night will be full of old favorites and new compositions as the orchestra presents original, student-composed scores paired with the showing of original, student-directed short films. This event is open to the public.

The Foster-Tanner Fine Arts Gallery at FAMU presents, “Unlimited, Unbound: Selections from FAMU affiliated artists through July 1st, featuring paintings, mixed media, printmaking, and Chinese brush drawings, the exhibition also showcases everyday figurative subject matter and abstract works of cultural and historical relevance. This exhibit is open to the public. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10AM to 5PM and Saturday, 11AM to 4PM.

Theatre Tallahassee has a new show running from June 9th through June 26th, called, “Death Trap.” This play is about a writer of Broadway thrillers struggling to overcome a dry spell, when a potential Broadway smash falls into his lap. The play provides twists and turns of devilish cleverness, and offers hilariously sudden shocks in such abundance that audiences will be spellbound until the very last moment. The Gadsden Arts Center & Museum has its Summer Art Camp ’22 throughout the months of June and July, children ages 6 – 12 will explore different kinds of art-making and learn more about famous art and artists. Six one-week sessions of Art Camp are available starting June 13, 9am – 12pm, for children 6-12 years of age. Each week brings a specific theme that encourages imagination and creativity with a multitude of hands-on activities, ranging from painting to printmaking. Information is available at gadsdenarts.org.
