The Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra has its final performance of the season called “New Beginnings” on Wednesday, May 18th at 8PM in Ruby Diamond Concert Hall. The performance will feature cellist Gabriel Martins and music by Prokofiev, Haydn, Tchaikovsky, and Stravinsky. Tickets are available at tallahasseesymphony.org or 850-224-0461.
The Monticello Opera House brings you the suspense-filled thriller “Wait Until Dark,” from May 13th through May 22nd. This is a general admittance show and will be held in the downstairs Perkins Performance Hall. Theatre Tallahassee presents “Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar and Grill,” a play depicting one of the legendary singer, Billie Holiday’s last performances in 1959. This play will run from May 13th through May 29th at Theatre Tallahassee. This production contains strong adult language, themes, and discussions that are inappropriate for young children. The Tallahassee Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and the Tallahassee Bach Parley present an Organ Recital by Dr. Iain Quinn on May 22nd at 4PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church.
