On Saturday, October 12th, the FSU Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) along with the FSU Autism Institute will host its 3rd Annual Touch-A-Truck event at the Edgewater Office Park in Tallahassee. FSU CARDserves over 5,000 individuals ranging from toddlers to adults in 18 counties throughout the Florida panhandle. The valuable services provided through FSU CARD, such as consultation, resources and educational support, are free to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related disabilities, their families and professionals who work with them. These services help to build knowledge, confidence, infrastructure, and sustainability in our community for those living with ASD. The Touch-A-Truck event is a way to further the mission of FSU CARD and the FSU Autism Institute to support those living with autism and their families in our community. We would like to invite you to participate in our 3rd Annual Touch-A-Truck event on October 12, 2019. This will be a family-friendly event where children and adults of all ages can get up close and personal with largerthan-life trucks, heavy construction vehicles, public safety equipment, cool cars, and other specialty vehicles. Last year, we had over 400 people attend the event and we look forward to welcoming even more participants this year. Please share this information on your social media pages and with anyone you know that would enjoy this event.
