Tallahassee's literary community is joining forces with Writers for Migrant Justice and Immigrant Families Together in order to raise money for the bonds, bills, housing, and food of those currently suffering from the Trump's administration's cruel policies and inhumane actions. Please join us Wednesday, September 4th from 7 to 9 PM at the Bark for a night of poetry reading and community commiseration. From the 7 to 8 hour the following literary superheroes have agreed to donate their time and words: Dustin Pearson Barbara Hamby DM Aderibigbe Mat Wenzel Tanya Grae Michael Rothenberg Ruth Ann Terri Carrion Laura Louise Minor Alexa Doran From the 8 to 9 hour we will have an open mic open to all members of the community.
