We continue following the Occupy protests across the country, including protests in Oakland, California. About 3,000 people gathered at the Port of Oakland yesterday and effectively shut it down. People flooded the port area and blocked exits. The protest remained largely peaceful until late evening when people responded to a bonfire and used tear gas to disperse a crowd.
