A Tallahassee Police officer is on administrative leave after shooting at a burglary suspect. According to the Tallahassee Police Department, the shooting happened on Mission Road at 9:47 Monday night.

Police Videos Show What Happens 'If I Was A Bad Guy'

The Tallahassee Police Department is giving tips for how you can avoid becoming the victim of crimes. And, they’re hoping those tips reach a wider audience with a series of funny videos called “If I Was A Bad Guy.”

All the “If I Was A Bad Guy” videos start out with an everyday situation. Eighteen have been posted on the Tallahassee Police Department’s Facebook page and on YouTube since July.

Tallahassee police have arrested a man who intended to burglarize several cars in a city neighborhood. But, as Sascha Cordner reports, authorities say it’s because of two local heroes that a criminal is now off the streets.

Tallahassee Police Spokesman Dave Northway says Michael Nesbit and Carin Butler were sitting on a porch at 1325 Jackson Street, when they spotted 56-year-old David Sampson entering several driveways and pulling on car door handles.
