After the loss of the Miracle 5 theatre and Video 21, local film buffs have a reason to celebrate this holiday season. Tallahassee is once again home to a video rental store.

Bills raising Florida’s minimum wage were assigned to committees but never heard after South Florida Democrats filed them this session. This week is Road Safety Week in Florida, and to commemorate the week, state lawmakers joined by law enforcement gave an update Wednesday on several traffic safety bills that are moving—and may not be moving—in the Legislature. Sascha Cordner reports.
