Democrat Jack Campbell is the next state attorney in the 2nd judicial circuit. Campbell beat out his competitor Republican Pete Williams, winning 55 percent of Leon County voters.

Al Lawson can officially call himself District Five’s Congressman. The former Florida state senator has been the heir apparent for the position since winning the primary against incumbent Corrine Brown and he quickly took the seat Tuesday. Lawson says he wants to focus on making college more accessible.

Early voting in Leon County begins Monday and runs through Sunday November 6th. Any registered voter may cast their ballot at seven different locations throughout Tallahassee, including the county courthouse, and at various public library branches.
