Tallahassee's Edison Restaurant Getting a Reboot

Some big changes are coming to Tallahassee’s Edison Restaurant. Tom Flanigan reports the eatery’s founding chef is moving on and his successor is expected to revamp the restaurant’s menu and pricing.

Former Governor’s Mansion Chef John Minas' last night at the Edison was Monday (9/26). By October 9th, Dr. Mark Bonn, who’s connected to the restaurant through his regular wine tasting events there, confirmed Steve Adams who ran Shula’s Restaurant at the Hotel Duval, will be the new man in charge of the Edison. Bonn said Adams will be bringing the food offerings more in line with local palates, as well as adjusting the price points to make the Edison more affordable to local diners. The Edison, located in the old city electric power station at Cascades Park, opened a year ago this month.
