A thirty-eight year old Tallahassee man is facing multiple narcotics charges.

Adam Fritz is accused of growing marijuana in the basement of his brook wood home.

Tallahassee Police found the illegal drugs when searching his house on Wednesday afternoon. Arrest documents say officers found more 172 plants growing in his basement. Fritz told law enforcement that he was laid off in 2009 and grew marijuana to supplement his income. He has since bonded out of jail.
