Last year, about 700 neglected and abused children in Franklin, Gadsden, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty and Wakulla counties found a friend in the judicial circuit’s Guardian Ad Litem program. Talking about that program and its many community partners and an upcoming fundraiser on April 16 are: Deborah Moore, circuit director of the program; Omega Wynn, president of Child Advocates II, which helps support the effort; and Kristine Lamont, chair of the “Cupcakes and Cookies for Kids” fundraiser.
