Graham's First Video Focuses On Schools, Fracking

Former Congresswoman Gwen Graham is vowing to end excessive standardized testing and ban hydraulic fracturing in her gubernatorial campaign’s first video.

The two and a half-minute spot shows Graham standing behind a high school lunch counter and drilling solar panels onto a suburban roof in highlights of her trademark work days.

Graham also takes aim at government gridlock.

“My love for Florida runs deep. But my patience, my patience for inaction in this state that I love, has run out…”

The North Florida Democrat’s famous father, former governor and U.S. Senator Bob Graham, also makes a cameo appearance.

Gwen Graham faces a primary challenge form Tallahassee Mayor Andrew Gillum and Orlando businessman Chris King.

A Miami native, former WFSU reporter Jim Ash is an award-winning journalist with more than 20 years of experience, most of it in print. He has been a member of the Florida Capital Press Corps since 1992.
