Florida Governor Rick Scott will unveil his budget wish list in Jacksonville Monday.
Governor Rick Scott will announce his budget priorities for the 2016-2017 fiscal year at Harbinger Sign. His Florida First budget is likely to include the one billion dollars in tax cuts he’s pushing. Included in that bundle is a reduction in the commercial lease tax and a permanent sales tax break on manufacturing equipment. Scott has also announced plans to include more funding for the state’s crime labs and for economic development.
