Governor Rick Scott announced the appointments of more agency heads Tuesday.

Following Tuesday’s Cabinet meeting, Scott spoke to reporters about the appointments—most of them returning from around the time Scott first took office.

“So, we just announced Barbara Palmer will continue running the Agency for Persons with Disabilities,” said Scott. “So, yesterday, we announced Liz Dudek will continue to run AHCA [Agency for Health Care Administration]. She’s done a great job. Mike Carroll was the interim at the Department of Children and Families. He’s got a history of doing a good job there. So, we made him permanent.”

There’s still no word yet on whether Scott will ask Florida Department of Juvenile Justice’s interim head Christy Daly to take a more permanent role.

Meanwhile, Scott still has to name a permanent replacement for three other agencies, including the Florida Department of Corrections. So far, interim Secretary Tim Cannon is in that post, after Scott’s third DOC head recently resigned. The Governor also has to name new heads for the Florida Department of Transportation and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
