Giant Bounce House Finishes National Tour in Tallahassee

Tom Flanigan

What its creators say is the world's biggest bounce house was at Tallahassee's Cross Creek Driving Range over the weekend.

"Big Bounce America is 10,500 square feet," said spokeswoman Molly Truszinski. "The main portion is 100 by 100 feet, but then we also have a slide and a dome as well, so that makes it the largest in the world."

Those dimensions are the equivalent square footage of 5 average American homes. Truszinski said the interior of the giant inflatable castle includes a full-size basketball court, an obstacle course and even a dance floor with live DJ.

"This was our debut year so this is the first time we brought this around America. So we're on a 15 city tour and Tallahassee was our last tour; saving the best for last. Next year in 2018 we're looking to (tour) 50 weeks."

She said there were steady crowds, despite two college football games in town over the weekend.
