Fresh Picked Prose: Misha Rai "Bihar, before 1980 and after”

Misha Rai was born in Sonepat, Haryana and brought up in India. She holds an MFA from Bowling Green State University where she served as Assistant Fiction Editor for the Mid-American Review. At present she is pursuing her PhD at Florida State University and is the Fiction Editor for The Southeast Review. She is a regular contributor to The Missouri Review blog. Her prose has appeared in the Indiana Review and Hayden’s Ferry Review. She has work forthcoming in the Crab Orchard Review. She is currently at work on her debut novel.
