Tallahassee, FL – Former Florida U.S. Senator Bob Graham is forming a new non-partisan group aimed at restoring water resource funding and protection. As Sascha Cordner reports, the one-time Governor is also challenging Florida's current Governor Rick Scott to make all of the state's water resources a priority as well.

Graham says Florida's environment and natural resources needs to be a top priority for Governor Scott this session, and he had some tips on what Scott can do to help.

"Don't sign any Legislation that will further degrade our ability to protect water. Second, to then lead an effort to reverse some of the damaging things that happened in 2011."

Graham says he wants to reverse some of the cutbacks and changes the Legislature made, and that Scott advocated for, this year towards the state's five Water Management Districts. During a news conference Wednesday, Florida Environmentalists along with Graham announced that as one of the many goals of a newly formed bi-partisan group he is heading called Florida's Conservation Coalition.
