Fmr. President Bill Clinton To Take Center Stage At DNC

Delegates at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte are eagerly looking forward to tonight’s speech by former President Bill Clinton. Many are expecting the clout of the former president to push undecided voters toward president Obama.

Florida delegate Seeta Begui says because President Clinton had a balanced budget during his administration, his support of President Obama during tonight’s speech should serve as an inspiration.

“Cause he’s a rock star of our party and he has weight, when he tells people to do something, they are going to do it and he’s going to tell them I’m behind Barack Obama one hundred percent.”

Begui says she thinks Clinton will assure the American public that they have a good guy in charge. As for president Obama’s acceptance speech Thursday, officials say a bleak weather forecast has forced them to change from an outdoor stadium to a smaller indoor arena, disappointing tens of thousands of people who signed up to see the president in person.
