Tallahassee, FL – Florida's Workers Compensation Law was amended five years ago to mandate that all injured workers' attorneys be paid on a schedule that capped their earnings, regardless of how many hours were spent litigating a case. Attorney fees for the defense were not affected. Gina Jordan tells us the Florida Supreme Court recently reinterpreted the law.
