Florida Reaches Gaming Deal with Seminole Tribe

Tallahassee, FL – A day before the US Department of Interior's third deadline, Governor Charlie Crist approved a deal with the Seminole Tribe of Florida to allow Las Vegas-style slots at Indian casinos.

Under the deal, the tribe is allowed to operate Las Vegas-style slot machines and card games such as blackjack and baccarat at its seven casinos on tribal lands, Mitchell Cypress is the Chairman of the Seminole Tribe of Florida.

The tribe will pay the state 50 million dollars upon federal approval of the compact followed by minimum payment to the state of 100-million dollars annually. For FPR I'm Trimmel Gomes
