As Florida Education Commissioner Pam Stewart steps down, pundits think outgoing Florida House Speaker Richard Corcoran could be next in line for the job. Ryan Dailey talks with Florida Education Association President Fedrick Ingram about what a leadership change could mean.

1. Reflect on Pam Stewart’s time as Commissioner – and what would you hope to see from a replacement?

2. To those in and around education, it’s been no secret, there are rumors swirling concerning former Republican Speaker of the House Richard Corcoran being eyed as the next commissioner. What’s your reaction to that – and in the event we get a Commissioner Corcoran, what would that mean for education?

3. The State Board of Education ultimately will have to greenlight the next Commissioner. Does that stand as a barrier to a potential Corcoran appointment?
