Court Launches Townhall Tour To Hear From The Public

The Florida Supreme Court is kicking off a state-wide tour this week in Orlando. The court wants feedback from the public on ways to improve operations.

The high court is using the tour to get the public’s take on issues faced in the judicial system that could include subjects like access or funding. Office of State Courts Administrator, Joanne Snair says the court wants to hear from the public.

“We hope to hear from people as far as what they think is working well because we have our opinions about that but what really matters is the people who use the court system and how well it works for them,” Snair says.

Feedback sessions begin Thursday at the Orange County Commission Chambers in Orlando and will end on March 2 at the Columbia County Courthouse in Lake City. Written comments will be accepted until March 16 at www.flcourts.org.
