The legislature decided last year to ban the clandestine use of GPS tracking devices. But as Jim Ash reports, a couple of lawmakers want to let private investigators continue using one of their favorite secret weapons.

A bipartisan effort is underway to relax Florida eligibility requirements for a wrongfully incarcerated inmate with a prior record to be compensated. But, as Sascha Cordner reports, some say they’d like to see that effort go further.

Members of the Florida House Finance and Tax Committee are looking for ways to extend tax breaks for homeowners. But Regan McCarthy reports local governments are worried about how the changes could impact their bottom lines.

The Army Corps of Engineers is developing a water management plan for the Apalachicola, Chattahoochee, Flint River system.  And this week, the Core came to Apalachicola to hear from residents about its plan. Now as Nick Evans reports many in North Florida are crying foul, and say the Army Core’s proposal ignores impacts in Apalachicola Bay.
